I guess the price of ammo should come down shortly.....

You missed his point....we are now part of the USA's overseas policy....whether we like to admit it or not.

kill us??? peace keeping canadians....are you an american cos you sound like them ??.... you got it wrong , canada is a net exporter of oil, we ship more oil to the US than we import from around the world....theoretically we dont need to import oil at all.

We always have been in one form or another despite the govt. anyway, plastic Americans is what we've been called for quite some time.

To get back on topic, the price of ammo won't go down much even if the commodity does. Like anything else once a bar is set and the manufacturers see that their product still sells they will sell as high as possible. Is anyone really ready to boycott ammo makers? Remembering that reloader's are a small part of the actual shooting public.

I punched some numbers from those charts and find that there isn't $4.00 worth of coper and lead in a box of .300 Mags. If that doubled, then the price should only go up $3.85. If it dropped by half the price should go down $1.92. We're getting boned.:runaway:

By now you know you are in dream world, if you think the price of ammo or components for reloading will be lower since the Cdn dollar has climbed a bit in the last while for it will be going under the Yankee dollar in a shot while if not now.

Cdn cannot stand the value of the Cdn dollar to be up to par of the American dollar or especially higher. It has to go under to keep businesses going, here in Cdn., to also keep people employeed here in Canada.
