I mounted my nightforce to my Savage mk2 zeros it up and shot this 10shot group at 100meter. Ammo was cci standard velocity


Should work good for a up coming PRS rimfire match

Going to try green tag next. Mini mags shoot well but fall apart past 100 we are going out to 300. I Will try some RWS match if I can find some

The CCI std is a one hole 25meter group. But you can hear some rounds are hotter then others. Green tag must be a little better in ES/SD

I'd be interested in what you find with Green tag, have been playing around with RWS Target rifle to see if they are worth the effort

Ah so im not the only one who puts really nice optics on their rimfires, I felt weird wanting to mount my Nikon black 4x-16x on my savage, since it was originally going to go on my ruger precision that isn't here yet so I just ordered a bigger scope for the ruger that isn't here yet.

Well I got to try the RWS match ammo. It shot close to a 5" group at 100 meters out of my savage. Weather was calm but very cold. Will test again in warmer weather.
