It started with a dream of hunting with an AR style 22. The answer is SR22. But like most beautiful woman....accessories are a must.

I had the same sight setup with the carry handle on my older mossy tactical 22, and I hated it, since they've come out with the new flattop I sold my old one and bought the new flattop

Yes...that is a barrel shroud, and yes that is an airsoft AFG2- after all it is a 22 and little recoil. No, I haven't shot it yet (hope to run 100 rounds through it to test the internals}


I built it for a gift to myself for completing all the "money issue's" with my ex. I posted it to show my efforts....Not to have it "picked apart" and start a "mine's better than yours" thread..

This is a gun forum on the internet. Every opinion you voice and picture you post will be mercilessly dissected by "experts" from coast to coast. Your intelligence and ###uality will be questioned, you will be insulted and called everything from "newbie" to "liberal" and any attempt to defend yourself will be viewed as an admission of guilt.

i dont believe the majority of people here knocked your rifle at all. buster95 asked a question, i answered, merely stating it was an airsoft copy afg, it was not an insult, it was an observation. nothing wrong with your overal build at all, the carry handle is actually growing to be one of my favorite additions to these rifles.
 
There's a few sensitive dudes on this thread... "Tacticool" is not for everyone, Kamlooky, as an example. Personally I am partial to "black" rifles, but not so much the AR style. If you like your build that is all that counts... get out and shoot it... if you want to enjoy it without feedback, best not to post.
 
You know what they say,"opinions are like a++holes everyone has one". That being said I ordered a chinese knockoff of an aimpoint, I'll spend $50 and see what it's like.

on a 22 it might be ok. I had one off my airsoft and put it on my AR. It lasted 1 shot and the lens blew apart on pieces. Was rather funny.
