I hate the HK P30L trigger...

So I love the grip and ergonomics of my HK P30L with V3 trigger..... but I hate the trigger on it! I took my Glock 34 and the P30l out to the range after I got them last month.... loved the feel of the HK in my hands, I don't think I've held one more comfortable..... then I shot it and went "eww". Had it out today and shot it after my Glock 41.... and same feeling. I love everything about it... but that trigger!

I am used to striker fired pistols, and I own and have owned revolvers and 1911's too... but the travel and reset even when in single action just left me not loving it.

So convince me.... am I needing more practice? Is there an upgrade to help it out? Or am I just a striker fired guy who should trade?

SFP9 I have both, like the trgger on the sfp9 better, but find it more snappy. Overall, I still prefer the p30

I would say practice a bit more before deciding. I have P30L decocker version. other than a little bit longer pre-travel, I found the trigger quick good. also with the unique recoil spring design, the recoil is so light that I got myself a 40S&W which shoots like 9mm.
compared to all my other pistols, I don't find it's extra better/worse. just have to get used to the long pre-travel by squeezing the trigger evenly.

If you really want a sweet trigger out of the box, you might consider switching to the ppq platform. Just got back from the range tonight with a Walther Ppq Q5 Match I got off the EE, could not be happier. Here's my last 2 10 round targets @ 20 yards. I have converted from Sig fanboy to Walther fanboy.

May I recommend shooting the HK P30L dressed in a fine suit. I also heard it helps if some thugs break into your house, kill your puppy and steal your sweet '69 mustang.

The PPQ has the best trigger of any polymer frame guns, period.

Might have been why I bought it in the first place... I also have an HKparts match weight incoming to mimic the JW experience lol.

That's awesome! You know I don't generally let movies influence my gun purchases but I seriously considered the P30L because of JW. Sucks to hear it has a crappy trigger though.
