I have a big butt

I have three, brand new, Long Branch "N" normal buttstocks, and they are all wider than what is on my rifles.

I also have brand new steel Long Branch buttplates, still in the grease and wrap, that look completely out of place compared to the new buttstocks.

I'm assuming all the buttstocks must have been made larger than spec and then shaped and contoured upon final fitting.

Why I don't know, as the walnut ones have already been dipped in BLO.

We should ask Peter Laidler on Milsurps/Jouster...

Big butt

Don't worry, nobody's perfect...
And, speaking from experience, larger butts are often more comfortable.
Shooting, that is! eh-eh!
