I have a dream...A Norinco AR-10...

So we have prints. Willing buyers for under $1000! So a preorder list started now we would look at delivery 2015? Or is the whole project not workable due to the increase in China's new priceing???

I haven't gone through all the pages here (not sure if it's been mentioned), but if a 7.62X51 AR180B (non-restricted) is possible, under a grand (or let's say 999$), I am pretty darned sure we'd have a nice little line up for those!

(We have the blueprints above, just adjust for 7.62X51 and we're golden! It's just that easy right? ;) haha)

Sorry, those 180 "blueprints" are missiong most dimensions and all tolerencing. I assume they were made causally by an enthusiast. I am not sure what the last pic is of.

Also, any gun made from those would be a prohib

Keep up the search. Look for a company name in the bottom right corner.

All my life I have wanted an AR 10

Item: For the money, the Norc AR-15 is a pretty darn good gun.

Item: The AR platform is easy to manufacture, esp. compared to the M14-style rifles that sell like hotcakes

Item: Everybody LOVES shooting .308/7.62x51 rifles [except for the cost, maybe].

I know Norinco is only peripherally in the business of making civilian/consumer guns, but it seems to me that a basic AR-10 style rifle that cost anywhere south of the $1000 mark would be a runaway hit anywhere they could be sold.

Just daydreaming here...thinking out loud...

That is a great Idea, for as long as I can remember even before I have heard of the AR 15 I have always dreamed of an AR 10...

I am a big guy and I love to be beat up a bit now and then tee hee

AR 10 south of a grand would be a must have for me .

POWW!!

I am surprised that no full-blooded Canadian owns a ARMALITE AR10A2 RIFLE and post reviews of this rifle. I mean ARMALITE, not COLT or S&W or other brands.

They need a full set of prints bolt upper ect we have had those lowers posted here already they are good just need the rest o the parts

Its a crying shame the dimensions are not legible.

It's impressive that Armalite seem to have been able to keep such proper security over someone copying and releasing the original drawings.

CanAm - say an American was willing to ship his Armalite AR10B/Hahn AR10 up here to be blueprinted, and then sent back. Is this something you could work out? Is this rifle even achievable?
