I have a few questions about Tavor ..

I am trying an eotech on it. So I am getting an adm riser that will raise it by .275"

Eotech is great for an AR. You run into issues with placement and the the charging handle due to the thickness of the optic. The M21 actually isca better choice for Tavor, RFB, and CX4 storm.

I have an EoTech and a 4x on mine. It works fine.
I much prefer it over the stock mepro. I had one of the amoeba dots. Not much good past 25 yds.

All this Tavor talk made me pull the twins out of the safe for a handling session... I have several bullpup style carbines, and although the Tavor trigger isn't as nice as the FN's or even close to that of the RFB, the platform is excellent... so much so that I have a pair of them. Build quality, ergonomics, simplicity etc. make for a wonderful package. I've tried the rifle with the "spring" removed, and found the trigger to mushy... I quickly put it back in and prefer the heavier more deliberate feel. It is not a match trigger, but with a consistent "press" it's very easy to fire accurately.

With respect to sight options, I've tried a few before going back to the Dlask Rail / EoTech combo for both carbines.

Good luck with your selection...

^know what u mean. It feels like more of a tool than something crafty. Simple, rugged and made to be used and abused. I got it in the first place simply because I wanted something that would work all the time, easy to clean/maintain, get the job done (range shooting or even hunting etc) and be practical (size etc.)

As much as there are many guns out there capable of better things, the Israelis really got this one right. Its not perfect on paper but IRL, it just makes a lot of sense.

I've got the bullseye models. I found when my Eotech 553 was where I liked it the base stuck out too far and interfered with operating the charging handle. Not really an issue now since I have a scope on it. I kept the M21 and actually bought another one for rifles such as this.

There are trade offs, overall I do like the Eotech better. But.. with the bullseye reticle and quick release it works well with certain firearm. Also no batteries to worry about.

I wish I had one of those. Or one of the short EoTechs.
As it is, I have the longest Dlask rail with the Tavor rear bups cut off, and an ARMS #40L low profile buis on the rear of the rail. It just clears under the 4x magnifier with quick release. EoTech 552 up front. It all co-witnesses in the bottom 1/3 of the view.
There is enough room for everything, and for my fingers on the buttons.
I like it, and the looks.

Tavor owners, how can you get past that horrible trigger? The fact that the OAL of the firearm is the same as my 10.5" AR15 and is non restricted is awesome, but that trigger....

There is nothing horrible about the trigger. It's not great, I agree, but it's not horrible. Let's not over-hype.

Is must agree. Everyone keeps rambling about the trigger... I've been shooting mine in the ORA for a couple of years now and can't tell any difference between my issue C7 and the Tavor.

Guess I'm not fussy enough. Seems just fine to me. Maybe one day someone will hand me a really fancy trigger and I'll feel the difference but so far seems like alot of hype.

The trigger isn't very good compared to a trigger on a Swiss Arms, or a Timney/Giselle Ar match trigger, but it isn't that bad. It's long and relatively heavy, but nice and smooth.

If it's the same as a C7 trigger than there is NO issue. People must be used to shooting match triggers...
