2 weeks ago i bought a steiner px4i, got it home loved it and used it. The picture is clear as a bell, the brightness is amazing, clarity is fantastic.
The problem is when i look through the rest of my scopes i want to throw them in the garbage lol.
Anyone else splurge on one and cant look back

Where did you get yours? I was shocked by the recent price increase I have seen. I waited too long and should have go one at precision for 850 - forgot to say for the 1-4x

I had a similar problem with King Optics...just kidding. My reality is that over the years I have used all different quality of glass from entry level Bushnell to Nightforce and in some cases, up graded if I retained the firearm. In other cases have just left the original scope if it was still doing the job of remaining clear and holding zero. In spite of being in the industry (especially being an optics nut) I have not switched out all my glass to premium (Dianne would disagree) optics as long as the required use has not changed and I can't really rationalize spending lots more money(even at wholesale) for a marginal increase in performance. For example I have a wonderfully accurate older (almost 30 years) Remington 700 varmint HB in 22-250 with a Bausch & Lomb Elite 4000 (not ever rain guard coatings) that remains a sub 1/2 group. The scope is a one inch tube with AO and is one of the longer scopes I own. I am afraid to change this gun scope combo to something higher end, just because... I can. I still go by the old saying "if it ain't broke...don't fix it". Phil.
