Sorry only adopting 19-25 year old females under 120 lbs that could double for Penelope Cruz, Catherine Zeta-Jones or Julia Roberts possibly Jessica Lange at that age. Already have two boys with a firm grip on my wallet.

25 on and 5 off, I'd kill for that sched, I've been 365 on for the last 30 years.
 
Dates

OK guys I've had some serious PMs re this offer now we need to settle on some dates that work. I am unavailable until April 15 and weather wise I would suggest mid to late May, it can happen earlier but weather could be an issue.

Thoughts?

Given your experience im surprised you need the help, wish i had the experience your looking for but im a moron when it comes to such things.

I hear ya and understand all that you say, this is not a simple request and very few will meet the requirements, have the time and experience and want to do something like this. This is why I threw it out to the shooting community as a whole because a very, very small fraction will be in a position to take advantage of this offer.
I took advantage of a similar offer years ago, my friend Bevan King, who barely knew me then, invited me to come to Cassiar and spend a couple weeks with him and his family and learn how to make barrels and brush up my gunsmithing skills. I did this and never regretted one minute of it and have spent several weeks since then with Bevan. This time is priceless and the knowledge gained is priceless and the friendship built is lifelong.
 
Well - if I were in a position to be offering opinions - from here, I would say that your opinion of the weather likely carries more weight than mine. There is that thing of flight availability too. On the other hand - time does get more hard to get when spring comes on. Guess I'm just saying what is known.

Edit : Seems like my posts are getting out of step here - you slipping one in before I post mine.

Well - on the topic of gunsmithing skills - my own have been getting in a rut - messing with the tiny guns is getting stale - so stretching the gray matter into different fields - the North and barrel harmonics - would be different. I've only been up there once - maybe thirty years ago - that is a long long highway.

Aww Remington - you gather up a few and all the guys will come to your house next - like the old threshing bees when I was a kid.

I think you're just a big tease, I don't think you'd show up even if I filled your list. I think you'd sit at home and LYAO at how stupid I was for spending another 3-4K just to appease you. That's what I think!!!!!

Actually the whole adventure really sounds like a very good time, like a spring break for gun nuts. The chance to see some new parts of the country and shoot some very nice guns!
I would bite if I had more vacation time this year.
 
For some guys, it might be a bit like bicycling across Canada - a great trip - but jumping a plane and skipping the Prairies might be understandable - or at the very least, doing them from West to East - with the wind if time is of value. I do concede though, that when I was a boy, I sure wanted just a few more Imperial .22 shells - we called them shells at our house - and now that I have them, they really don't mean as much. I get that feeling when I hear of guys with sks' and thousands of rounds - uh - just imagine if those rounds were spent developing skills - say off-hand shooting skills - or snap-shooting skills - a guy would be unbeatable - but no - when we get a ton of ammo and guns - mmm - we do lose something - I think. Considering this further may be uncomfortable - I'm off to the press.
 
I just hope that those unable to offer can live vicariously through those who can take advantage of this generosity. I suppose I could offer something similar, without all the interesting cartridges (probably with a reloading set up to die for) the scenery, the food, the airplane, the intelligent conversation, and it costs more to get here, and I'd have you living in tent just out of town . . . best sign up with C-FBMI.

1) How many shooters out there are capable of shooting 5 shot, 1/4 inch MOA groups at 100 yards, regardless of what rifle is in their hands?

2) How many store bought rifles are capable of making 5 shot, 1/4 MOA groups at 100 yards?

No point in having someone fire your test loads if THEY (the shooter) aren't capable of keeping 4" at 100 mtrs, right.

I do have some loads and rifles that have known and recorded grouping capabilities, which will be used to determine if the shooter is capable. And no, they are not 375, 416 and 470.

For H4831, also I usually use 3 or 4 shot groups for hunting weight rifles.

Absalutely none. I've seldom shot 1/4 inch three shot groups let alone a five shot groups. Half inch groups are difficult enough to achieve with five shots with my own rifles let alone a unknown/strange firearm. Expectations are most high from the OP.
