I am curious about something.
I am a bow hunter. I hunt deer and have hunted in western Quebec and eastern Ontario zone 65 for over 25 years now. Since I am a non-resident when huntinh in Ontario, I am only allowed a buck when bow hunting, unlike in Quebec where I am automatically permitted a doe during bow season.
This year, I have decided to hunt during the rifle season as well in zone 65 but have read in the Ontario manual that in that zone you cannot hunt with a rifle during rifle season in November. Black powder, shotguns, crossbows and bows only in zone 65.
Can someone tell me if it has always been that way and if so, is there any particular reason for it.
Just curious, as usual
Robert
