I have a Redfield Revenge, 4 - 12 x 42, p/n pclc04418 for a Mark II Savage and some tasco rings that fit. I also have Weaver 54M bases. But they're the wrong base. I'm told it should be a no 16 base. And I think that is correct.

I tried shooting on Sunday, It worked ok, then I noticed a rattle, the scope was loose. When I tightened the thumb screws, the scope was touching the barrel.

I think I need some no. 16 bases, but I can't find them here.

Seems easy but I've run into a dry well.

Any suggestions?

I think I have the part number wrong, It's 115216.

Problem solved. Bass Pro had lots. Plus the high rings I actually want for barrel clearance.
