What a great platform. My next move is to get a good 9mm 1911 to add to the collection.

On to the ####...

Not a 1911, but the HK likes to think he's just as good...

If you had to choose your favorite 1911, what would it be, and why ?

I just got the Remington R1, very fun to shoot and very accurate, still looking for my next one )

The NHC. It is really unfair to compare any other "production" 1911 to it.

Besides the NHC, I'd say I've become partial to the Sig (in terms of .45acp)

My Punisher gloss blued Taurus is the most fun to shoot, in .38 Super, the thing is laser like accurate

But.....they're all nice.....and there will be some new additions soon

A Les Baer, Sig Nightmare and maybe even an STI!

The 1911, still kickin' butt! I have an HK45 as well but to me it's just another cheap plastic gun compared to any quality 1911. Oh, and you need a Wilson in your collection. An all stainless Classic in 9mm would fit in well with the others....:).

Dude. They're like children! Some are better than others, but you still can't pick a favourite!!!

lolll, yeah your right lolll, I am looking for some input, like you said.... for my next child to had to the family ... :)

And before anyone comments on the Norc......

We all love to talk about the beauties we've had, but somewhere in the past lurks the ugly chick we've all taken home in a moment of weakness!

Beautiful collection, but I personally don't like inscriptions on my guns, unless I was a veteran. Wouldn't mind seeing a closeup of your Nork, one I'm actually thinking of buying to keep my Sig company.

Wouldn't waste the memory card space.

Wish I'd never have bought it. Doesn't shoot well, fit and finish is mediocre at best.

Like I said above.....a moment of weakness.

However, my friends do laugh when they see a $400 1911 along side a $4000 1911.

The Para is a nice safe queen just for the sake of what it was attempting to be. It's a piece not worthy of the Para Ordnance name anymore, in my opinion, but it still is one to collect. Actually Para Ordnance is not worthy of that name anymore itself. Sad really.

Nice stuff. Wifey just got me a ruger for christmas. Where did you get the grips for yours? That color looks great on it.

Vz grips. Gatorback Black Molon Labe

I got it as part of a multi gun trade. It is stamped made in Canada though.
