So, I have decided to give the optics division a go..that is when we can have matches again lol. These old eyes need the help, although I found it did take some getting used to when pushing out and getting my sight picture. Now just to get out and zero it.

Just in case you run into the same problem... I have one of those sights on a MKIII 22/45 and the last time I had it out (the second time using it) the sight kept changing brightness and then shutting off. Thought the battery was dying but noticed it would only do it while the action was cycling. When I got home I put a new battery in and manually cycled the action and it was still doing it. I figured the sight was buggered, but got looking at it again I bent the little tabs in the battery well out a bit more so there would be more pressure being applied and tried again. Manually cycled the action a few dozen times and the problem seems to have been resolved. I haven't tried the one I have on my 870 yet.....
