I have my XLR stock...!!!

What spray paint did you use to touch up the stock? I was thinking of a Tremclad metal in Matte black? I have a few scratches to deal with as well.

I'm sure that will get the job done but I would say test it where it seems the least...

Good thing 4 us, matte black is easy to match !!!

I used simillar rust metal paint, I think it was RONA rust paint...

If it a small narrow scratch, use a fine brush and if its rubbed like mine take a Q-TIP !!!

I am looking at buying one of these stocks.
They gave me a 10 week lead time from the order date to when it is in the mail.
I have been lied to by stock makers in the past. How long did you wait for your stock?
Also, these are very light weight, do they soak up any recoil ?

Took longer than 10 weeks but the guy moved his shop during my order...
If you want to buy special stuff you must be patient :p

I think the XLR stock is a tiny bit heavier than the accustock and since my FCP-K have a muzzle brake, I don't have strong recoil...

Ok
And what rail? Did you have to cut the rail ?

Thanks, I'm waiting for my XLR stock

I have a NF 20 MOA Savage SA picatinny rail...
Yup, I cut it...

First I tought just put it on the milling but I was affraid to cause some stress in the railing...

I cut it with a hand metal saw and let some material to finish it on the drum sander with a 90 degres guide... I used same paint I used for my touchup and It did a gr8 job !!!

Easy job, took me less than half an hour and it did a gr8 job...
Will post a photo soon...
