This level of expertise astounds me at times; I just know so little.

On page 10 of a certain website, discovered an Astra 600 in 9mm Kurz, which is .380 ACP to the rest of us. Surprised that they could get this monster to work with such a wimpy round..... unless they left out half the spring! Mine is marked 9mm/38 Colt but they mean 9mm Largo and .38ACP and it is a BEAR to operate. Anybody else ever run into one of these .380ACP Astra 600s? Any .32s or .25s out there?

The finger on the trigger is another less well known safety check, known only to the experts. Essential when the bolt won't move to check the chamber.

Astra made a series of blow back pistol, with and without an exposed hammer.

The 300 in .380
The 400 in 9mm Largo
The 600 in 9mm Luger.

The last in the series, I believe, was the 9mm Condor with an exposed hammer.
