Because as far as I know no one has imported any :(

FN sports is the Canadian Taurus importer/distributor

I haven't heard of any in canada yet. They are selling like crazy in the states right now. I don't think taurus can supply enough to the distributors. Since they can't keep up with the american demand, it's delaying supply to canada.

I saw a ton of them in trucks, boats, and helicopters while in florida. very very popular.

it shoots .410 shot as well. boys there said "I'sa can shoots maw hawgs an der snay-kes wit da sam gun!"

;)

it's a fad- basically a 45 colt with cylinders long enough to handle 410 shot shells- it works b/c both cartridges are rimmed, so headspace is not an issue, but the bullet jump when using 45 colt must be considerable- and it uses a rifled barrel- that's an issue with ANY thing using shotshells ( pattern deformation) in a rifle barrel unless you use a shot cup - that keeps the stuff together until it exits the barrel- you want to see, this, get any 22 and fire a couple of 22 shot shells in it- and that's the result of the rifled barrel- basically it's a 45 colt trying to do 2 jobs, does neither one well, and b/c it's a restricted, what's the point- you can only use it on paper- i should doubt if you EVER see any in canada, for the reasons i stated and lack of a deaership willing to bring them in

It's the thing every gangster wants for christmas. That's what the papers said when they first came out.

Since when do we base our opinions on what a toronto newspaper thinks about guns?

I think they're an interesting gun. I'd like to shoot one. There is a small market for them in canada because just like every other handgun, they will be fun when they go bang.

They tried to sell it originally as the 44Ten in '05, gushing about its ability to fire 45LC, 44-40 and 410shotshells...Seems they made a bit of a change and renamed it and dropped the 44-40 ability in the features. Seems it was renamed The Judge as the 44Ten never really made it onto the US market. I have posted this before, but Lonewolf in Idaho also sells these things with a screw-in choke which makes a real difference for the 410. Nice but not really practical for anything up here other than novelty factor. Makes a good home defense in the States or on board a boat etc but our laws really dont make it practical..:)

My GF actually really wants one of these.

I tried to find one for her as an X-mas present.

no luck.

There are none in Canada according to my local shop.

Since when is it practial for ANYONE in canada to own a handgun... other than shooting at paper? at least this way, I get my kicks for owning a unique gun and i get to shoot a BIGGER hole on the paper LOL.

Its like the practicall NEED for a 44MAG or + Caliber pistol..lol

I was in the U.S. a few weeks ago and had an opportunity to visit a gun store .... had a Judge in my hand but being Canadian, I could only drool.
I had never seen so many guns in one place before! Choice of any handgun you could imagine, 2 Barrett 50 cals on the counter and a choice of 3 Thompsons in the "auto" rack. The Thompsons started at $1250.00.
Friday nights were "full auto" nights ..... sadly, I wasn't able to attend. Darn!!!
