I really like the appearance of the bad guy guns. In stock form they look like serious weapons with the folding bayonets and curved magazines. I am jacked up about the svt-40 with the cool looking muzzle and the cooling holes or hand guard at the business end. The CZ-858 you can get anywhere even cabelas. But where is the best place to get a svt-40? Is there any stores carrying this rifle where I can go and look at them. I think they are all original refurbished. But is there any new copies out there like the SKS. I don't want want wore out and be potentially dangerous. Also if you put a scope on it, is it a pain to install?

The SVT is a great rifle, pretty much all are refurb and no you cant have copy.... Scoping a svt is not pratical unless you have an ex-sniper one and its expensive to scope so better stick with iron sight.

I got my SVT 40 from SFRC (CGN Sponsor at the top). Was a really nice '42 with a great stock and plum coloured bolt. Love the SVTs!

Slow down boy, don’t run out and buy all the guns you can’t afford. Do your homework and read lots of the threads in the Red section right here. The chances of you getting a worn out and dangerous firearm from any reputable dealer is small, but do your homework. Shop around, some of the best deals are offered by some of the sponcers at the top of the board.
Why are the bad guy guns so cool? Price, simplicity, ruggedness, and you can waste lots of money on after market junk
