I have started saying 'HELLO BOYS' when I pass in front of this cabinet.

I GAVE THESE TWO DEACTIVATED GUNS TO THE CAT.

The revolver appears in this photo of my collection back in my parent's house in the early 1960's.

They are the 'BOYS'----because these are the "GIRLS'.

This was decided over many long conversations.

THESE ARE THE 'GRANDFATHERS'.

THESE MIGHT BE THE GRANDMOTHERS?

I traded the Werndl carbine + cash for a Model 1861 Colt Navy revolver from Gerard Valliere in 1989.
I don't remember where I got the carbine.[/QUOTE]

Hope you got a chance to shoot it. They are amazing mechanically and were a contender to the Rem Rollers.

The only photo of the Werndl carbine is the one shown above.
I never shot this carbine.

Gerard Valliere was French European and he said he might have customers for this carbine in Europe.

I have absolutely no idea where I got this carbine---which is rare for me.
I keep detailed info on where my guns came from or where they went.

The M1861 Colt Navy is in 'SO SO' condition.

In 1970 I sold part of my collection at a British friends' boutique in Old Montreal. (We had met in London in 1966.)

I have no records that indicate what I sold this stuff for.
