I have started saying 'HELLO BOYS' when I pass in front of this cabinet.

THE LAST CHAPTER IN THE STORY OF MY EARLY COLLECTION.



Sept 27 2003—I got two HSc holsters—I paid $150 and traded German Saw Tooth Bayonet—Chassepot saber bayonet—Ross Rifle Bayonet.
I sent the two holsters to Collector’s Guild in NB on consignment.



March 2005 ---I bought a dewat MG34 and sold it for to a fellow in Torbay NL on August 31 2017.



March 10 2018 (Mtl gun Show)---CW pistol cartridge box & cap pouch—I traded a telescoping MP40 firing pin—P38 grips and magazine—three K98 magazine pouches.











May 5 2018 (2) .58 cal cartridges $100



December 4 2021 (at my house)----I got 5 CW cartridges –cartridge box with a sling—I traded surplus ammo—many gun books including Mein Kampf-
2 helmets (Canadian and German WWII)-two leather slings- Webley Air Pistol—Tobin’s Air Force maps—two holsters.

That picture of your friend from London knocks me out. I can hear his accent.
 
My British friend and I met in London in 1966---we worked at Selfridges department store as 'Father Christmas' (Santa Claus) helpers helping the children see the OLD MAN IN THE RED SUIT---who use to drink a lot.

My friend came to Montreal to work at Expo 67---and started his various businesses in Old Montreal after Expo.
I took off to France and then---North Africa---overland to India and returned to Montreal on Oct 18 1968---exactly two years after I left Montreal.

The last time I saw my friend was in June 2013 at his 70th birthday party at his house in Ile Perrot.



In 1967 while I was travelling in North Africa the Israeli broke out and I had to get out of Tunisia to Italy.
In 1966 the blue collar and student riots in Paris was an event I got caught up in.
At that time the Viet Nam War was going on---the world was an unsettled place.
