so my CZ858 had the infamous "gremlin", someone on here suggested fellow cgn'er broncoo could do the tabbing, well it just so happens that broncoo lives about 5 blocks from me. i have to tell you his work is fantastic (pics below to prove) it was done in no time flat and i'm impressed. i made this post to thank him and the guys that suggested him when i asked. i lucked out that he's close by. for those of you who aren't, get ahold of him and send it, it's worth it, the cleanest tab job i've seen yet!!!!! do a username search for "broncoo" and pm if you too have the gremlin. had it not been for cgn i wouldn't have "found the fix".

He did a couple for me and the welds looked very, very good. I will use him again as soon as I can get another CZ858! Can never have too many.

I may need this work done at some point too but so far she is running well.
About 1,400 rounds to date.

ya this particular CZ i picked up "pre owned" and it didnt' have many rounds fired. i think the owner sold it not understanding the "gremlin" and how easy it is to fix when you know WHO or HOW....lol....thankfully my fellow cgn'ers knew WHO as i didn't know HOW....

Nice work! I have a 858 with about 300 rounds through it, I havent come across the gremlin yet. But who knows if I never will. I've heard there is a few differnt ways the gremlin can happen, dose this fix all forms of the gremlin? And did you have to send him the entire rifle so he can determin what exactly is causing the gremlin? or do you just send in the bolt carrier? I've been thinking of picking up the 858 spare parts kit, and sending him the carrier from that incase I do ever run into this problem.

Yep, Broncoo does very nice work. He tabbed a VZ bolt carrier for me a few years back. It's fantastic.
