I Hollis Martini 22

Come across this I Hollis and sons Martini 22. Doesn't have the original barrel. It is a take down. Looking to find out more info on it. Like when they were made.

Hard to tell from your pics but it looks like a standard military type action ?that someone made into a takedown 22.Probably made in the 1880s and original caliber was 577/450.You can date your rifle by looking at the proof marks on the action and comparing them to the British proof mark charts available online.

Here are some of my 22 martinis.These are all variations of Francotte martinis and were centerfire rook rifles converted to 22lr at the turn of the century.The top two have safety levers and the top one is a takedown while the bottom two are action take downs onlyIMG_2003.jpeg

Some nice ones.
Mine is a small frame. No way it could have been a 577/450. Way too small. No proof marks I can see on it. There is a serial number on the frame in front of the trigger.
