Well after doing some research on here it looks like I got myself 2 factory 26s.
One looks to be a 1956 dated one and the other a later date one.
The 1956 one I did not even notice the the factory 26 symbol until after I took pics and zoomed in on them.
Here are some pics. Can someone tell me more about them.

Yes that's the one I am keeping for sure.
The other one well you never know.

I don't know I think I read somewhere they were rare and brings a higher value.

They are not rare at all :p but the Sino is hard to find :)

Fatory /26\ were made from 1956-1982 so they are probably the most common.

With the blade bayonet they have screwed in barrels make on Soviet tooling at least the early ones were.Mine is a 1965 I recall.Harold

I'm going to take a guess/ask, are the stock missing serial numbers? I ask as the color would imply no serial number on the stock, and indicates Chinese refurb. The chinese didn't mark their refurb rifles, however new stocks or replaced stocks weren't stamped to match.

I have a Factory 26 from 56, 66 and 80. The 80 is all matching with bakelite hand guard. The 66 and 56 are refurbs.
