Well, now you have to shoot the crap out of it to work the trigger.
One thing: replace those crappy grips.

I have a set of Hogue rubber grips on the way as well as a set of custom wood grips from a guy in Hungary who reputedly does fine work. And a set of adjustable sights for month's end.

Will post pics of wood grips when I get them.

Good luck with it, cuz I haven't had much with mine. I need an account with Canada post for the amount of times I sent it back to Marstar. But I must say they do fix it and send it back with no arguements. It,s the Ambi safety that is the weak link here and load yer lead rounds a lil bit long or they stove pipe like crazy.

Been shooting my buddies NP-40 for the last 3-4 weeks. It eats all types of reloads. No stovepipes, no FTF. Shot 1" group with cast lead bullets. Your gun must have been manufactured on a Friday afternoon, just before quitting time. ;)

lmfao ya lemons come off the line in all operations and with my luck.... well my buddy and I both got one and his broke once as well and has eaten everythying he has thrown at it since without so much as a single stove pipe:bangHead: for the record tho, when I shoot hotter jacketed stuff It functions well and puts out some decent groups, it just doesn't like low velocity lead.

Well, I wuz warned! LOL
I shot about 175 rounds and noticed my right hand safety was sticking out. Tried to push it back in... now way. Pulled on it and it came out in my hand.

Came home and dismantled pistol. Pulled on left hand safety, it came out too! Then the trigger assembly fell out. I started to remember those four letter words that I try so hard not to use.

Logged on to CZSHOOTERS, they have a great how-to for do-it-yourselfer trigger jobs, with lots of pics.

I reassembled my gun, everything works like new. I now know what to do if it should happen again. The retaining spring doesn't seem to lie in the slotted part of the ambi-safety tightly, due to it bein just a slight bit too long. The vibration from firing the pistol makes it work loose.

I had vision of calling the CFO for an ATT to send it back to Marstar and not having pistol for next weekends shoot. :( Damn I'm gonna return it and buy a REAL CZ!!!... the thought crossed my mind. Once you know how to fix it, it doesn't seem all that bad in the end.

Well you seem to have taken it pretty good. I know I would have probably had thoughts of sending it back. How did you find it before it was falling apart on you, accuracy, feel etc..

No FTF, no stovepipes, eats handloads well. Good groups however, I have to get used to the sights as I'm shooting to the right. Don't like the stock sights, find them too narrow. Have ordered a PSI TPU type rear target sight which should help immensley.

Finish is surprisingly good. Pistol is tight, no rattles. Springs are very stiff but have improved even after just 175 rounds. Will probably polish the slide this week, have to get a rubber cup for my dremel.

The retainer spring thing was bothering me. Was sure the safety was going to come off again, so I cut it a bit shorter and it now lays in the groove of the right hand safety the way it is supposed to. Its a quality control thing, a close inspection when assembling would have detected the spring was a bit too long. Anyhow, it should no longer be an issue.

All in all, for $350, I am quite satisfied. Gonna run another couple hundred rounds thru it next weekend!

That is excactly where my woes started, next the trigger went single action and slowly started to fail to release the hammer without excessive trigger pressure, Cleaned the living shiete out of it but it's still come and go. I have been reluctant to home tool it while it is under warranty but I did plan all along to do upgrades to the pistol with aftermarket parts. Looks like it's time  Keep posting about what you do to it and give some Ideas. For the initial investment for the pistol there is still lots of room for enhacement and still be a bargain:rockOn: .
