I just paid for a Wrong Product

MarkHFX - If that offer was for 40 rounds to add to the ammo test, no thanks.

I am going to try as many different brands/makes of ammo as I can. So far I have:

Russian copper wash
CZ
Yugo
Polish
Romanian - 2 years
Wolf HP
WPA FMJ
Old yellow box commercial Norinco
Federal FMJ

Last night I put a 24X scope on the Rem788, so a better ammo test can be done. I plan on shooting a 10 round group out of each batch of ammo.

I will try to buy some new MFS and/or Norinco ammo to add to the test. Anyone know what LeBaron has in stock?

"Actually, it's rare that the person behind the counter of a big gun store has more knowledge than I do on a product I want to buy. Before I get there I've already researched it. "

I agree. But sometimes it is the other way around. A knowledgeable person trying to help customers finds the customers don't know they don't know and don't want to listen.

I know a father and son who have a gun store. Both have competed internationally for Canada on Teams. dad is a professional hunting guide and has shot several hundred deer and moose. He told me he has given up trying to give advice or point out that some buying decisions are ill-conceived.

That's ammo imported by Trade Ex,hence the English/French labling.

I don't think what is currently sold be LeBaron is from TEC. LeBaron usually will have all their boxes / items bilangual, especially if it transits in Montreal warehouse.

actually thats thanks to NRCAN and dealers opening crates and selling ammo by pack of 10 or 20 without the useless french label. Same reason it doesnt come on stripper clips now, because someone has to open the crates and place them in the labeled boxes
