Hello guys! I FINALLY got a chance to go out to shoot my rifle! Wohoo!
I shot 8 different groups at 100 yards on sunday afternoon. I am VERY pleased with the results!
The group sizes were as follows: 0.514", 1.066" for 4 shots and 3 of 4 in 0.288"!
- 0.893 for 4 shots, 3 of the 4 inside 0.221"
- 0.372" for a 3 shot group,
- 1.088" 4 shot group with 3 of 4 rounds inside 0.291"
- 0.819:,
- 0.707"
- 1.157" with 3 of 4 in 0.742".
I shot 165 grain Nosler Partitions, 168 grain nosler ballistic silver tips, 180 grain nosler ballistic tips, and 200 grain Sierra BTSP.
All bullet groups grouped very closer to each other relative to the 1/2" diamond center On the target. Very little left to right dispersion.
With the 168 grain Ballistic silver tip's hitting 1.5" high, the 200 grain BTSP's hit exaxct point of aim! I like that!
The 165 grain Partitions were quite slow for the load, so I will need to work up from there. They were the group that was 0.372". Awesome for Partitions!
The 180 grain Ballistic tips were right in the mid 2700's as expected.
The 200 grain sierras were in the 2500fps range. One load shot into 0.514".
All in all, I am excited to get back out there and work my way up in velocities.
I tried IMR4350, H4350, and IMR4831 powders.
-The trigger is amazing! Clean, crisp and consistent!
Hope I got all that info straight! Lol! Hope you guys enjoy the update!

- cartridges fed like wet ice on wet ice! Love the feel of this action.
-recoil was very manageable at this level of pressures.
I need to move the scope back a little more to get everything completely comfortable.
