Some of the original press on this rig suggested a pretty good selection of cartridges. That said, other than travelling and fit what is the advantage of barrel interchangeability?

Maintenance should be easier with the barrel off...and I'm still not sure but maybe you can change calibers if you wanted a multi caliber platform.

We should support these accurate, realiable, sweet triggered semi-autos so that the antis can't say Semi-Auto is not a legit hunting tool....

The barrel and the top half of the receiver are one piece. You can remove the barrel using the fore stock as the torque on/off tool... in a few seconds. This allows for chamber to muzzle cleaning and facilitates the use of a bore guide just like a bolt action. The Gas system is very simple and easy to clean as well.

The only other barrel I would consider would be a .325WSM and if and when they make one... sign me up!

Well I like them better than the new Winchester auto's thats for sure, nice rig, let us know how she does down range.
Just happen to see one at the range a few times and they held there own.

Bigredd, I would have guessed you for a wood man. How's the plastic on it?
I have a buddy that bought a 9.3x62 and he's happy with it. Never got the chance to shoot it thoguh.

The wood models have some nice looking stocks, but the synthetic has the Comfortech stock, reduces even more felt recoil. Too bad they don't make the synthetic model in a .308, I might have bought one.

Who cares how it looks? The deer will only see the barrel sticking out of your whack shak anyway followed by the muzzle flash of eternal sleep.;)
I think i could get used to the new look.(If it handles nice too)
