I like my SVT-40 in the white.... pics

That vinegar trick does wonders. My '43 is back in the white and my '41 is soaking now. I let 'em soak for around a hour, clean with a toothbrush, rinse off with hot water, dry 'em good, and polish 'em with some fine steel wool. It looks pretty good. Try it, its worth the elbow grease. Cheers.
 
It came out so nice, i am thinking of ordering a 6 port to add to my stable after giving it is white look... JP.
