It was a long time ago and something I will never forget. I lost my virginity to a 22 on a cold fall day in the prairies. It had been a number of years since I ventured out to be with a gun again, but the smooth and silky curves of her stock enticed me once more. So begins the story of VAZ-Deferens.


Hello Canadian Gun Nutz,

I’m VAZ-Deferens; you can add another tally on the side for pro-firearms. I’ve always wanted to get into firearms, but seeing as there are so many hoops to jump threw I kept putting it off. In March I got off my arse and completed both the non-restricted and restricted firearms courses. Now I’m pulling my hair out a bit each day in anticipation that the government may deem me worthy enough to ship my PAL/RPAL to me.

As for what sports I am interested in, I would have to say all of them. :D The problem is I have very limited experience and I don’t know what I am interested in yet; at this stage I am exploring (PAL/RPAL would help with that). So far I have done a little target shooting, shot some clay birds, and killed a gopher. Yes only one gopher! That is something I need to work on.

I am looking forward to being a part of the community and learning from all of your experience.
