Just put a camo laminate feather weight thumb hole stock on my Savage 16 International Trophy Hunter! Looks great. Goes with the other Boyd's stocks in the cabinet. It took a bout 30 minutes with a dremel to take off a few millimeters for the trigger guard and mag well but not too difficult.

Bought one disappointing Richards Microfit, then switched to Boyds, I have had them on Winchesters, Savages, Rugers and Weatherbys never been disappointed.
 
I only have one so far , Boyds Tacticool ( cant get these in Canada any longer ) .
Its on my Savage 93FV 22WMR on the left and its a big improvement.
The Savage on the right (64TR SR) is their version of the Tacticool .


I would love to get a Boyds laminate for one of my M-305,s ....
 
I have purchased many and installed even more.

There is no better value out there, not even close. They will also not hinder a rifles accuracy when done properly.

Just wish they would allow a greater value to be shipped, would open up some custom options, unless they have increased the limit??

Boyd's is swamped with production demands... forget about call backs... go on the website and order a catalogue... cross reference your info and read the spec attachments with every stock design... Don't "write-off" the company because they are too busy to call you... they are too busy because their products and pricing are so good.

I'll post some more pics of the M305. They don't make that laminated one anymore, just a walnut.

I emailed them about the Savage 16 with detachable magazine and they got back to me about two months latter saying they would have some soon. And they did so I bought one.

That's too bad they don't make the laminate, it looks amazing. As soon as i saw your pic i instantly thought about getting a laminate stock as well for my M305.

You made me very, very sad to find out i can't have one.
 
I have two and really like them. Best bang for the buck for sure.

Need a new stock for my 243, but I think I want to try something different this time
