Not sure if all canadian tires are privately owned , but some are. We used to have one with a great gun dept, but a customer suicide ended it.

Nice to see retail operations the size of the Tire carrying firearms again. Having firearms seen in stores like these normalizes them. It makes it more difficult for the Cukier crowd and other anti alarmists to peddle their BS to a gun neutral public.

Canadian Tire in Belleville has the largest gun and ammo section I've ever seen and I travel around a lot.

I sure hope the CT near my place starts stocking this stuff, i'm not sure about the owner but the last time i went there to get some ammo there was a whole skid of sporting clays sitting out in the middle of the store by the info booth. I've also noticed they've moved the entire sporting section around too. it feels a lot more open by the locked cabinet unlike how it used to be, cramped and kind of tucked away. fingers crossed.
