...that is all. I wanted to shout it from a mountain, but the Lifties got nervous when I tried to mount the Chair with it.

So I'm declaiming it here, amidst my peers, my compatriots, mes amichi.

...Anybody have any good load data for 300 TSXs?

...and also a point in the direction of some RCBS Dies. Or can I just neck size with an H&H?

What is the recoil like compared to the ol H&H? Does anyone have a comparison? I know where there is a mark v for sale that I think is the 375, will have to call the fella to be sure.

Oh: here's a picture.

You might want to compare the 375 WBY to the 375RUM, before attempting that. The two cartridges are quite different.

The OP asks about neck sizing with H&H dies.
Won't work
For neck sizing you can fake it with an ultramag sizing die.
I mentioned it ,thats not the same as a recomendation.
Just buy the right dies.

I have an old Sako AV in 375 H&H which is going to become a 375 Wby this spring. I've always wanted to play with one and see how much more it's capable of than the H&H. I'm told by reliable sources it's easily capable of 3100 fps with 270 gn bullets and 2950-3000 with 300 gn bullets.

That is 378 speeds. I had one of those and a few 375's but not a 375Wby. It is a H&H improved. Very nice. I find the Brownings light in 375H&H so your WBY should have quite the jolt when loaded up. Have fun.

I had one, a ZZK602 that Bevan King rechambered for me, and developed loads for another one that Rembo on this site barrelled up. His had a 23" barrel and easily got 270s to 3000 and 300s to 2800 fps. My old BRNO was close to 100 fps faster out of its 26" barrel.

Mine ended up with a guy who figured it was worth much, much, more than I did, and it went to a new home. It was one of the flattest-shooting truly big game rifles I ever had, and I would build another one if I weren't seriously trying to reduce the herd.

Mine is a very nicely sporterised P14, with a Douglas 27" bbl. shoots 300 gr Sierras at 2800 fps with no issues. When I was younger and didn't know better I tried some 375 H&H AI data which pushed the 300 gr bullets to 2900 fps, but I wasn't comfortable with those pressures so I backed the load off some (2900 fps with that bullet is really 378 Wby territory). It is a wonderfully useful hunting cartridge, I think the best of the 375's. - dan
