Just bought this from another CGNut and I LOVE IT!

I've owned a Desert Eagle in .44 Magnum which was really fun, and fired a couple in .50 AE which is incredible...but the combination of this heavy gun, and the .357 round for no recoil and a massive muzzle blast...what a hoot!!!

I've been very tempted by the DE. I was thinkin a .44 would be good. Are the .50's worth the extra$$, or is it just to say you've got one??

Depends what you use it for. If you hunt with your pistol, like alot of people are fond of doing in the states, then probably yes, it's worth the money to get a .50 AE.

I've got a mark VII in .357, because I'm not made of money, and .357 is much more affordable cartridge.

I was given the opportunity to shoot DE's in every calibre once, and the 357 is truly amazing, you can pretty much shoot them as heavy as you like and they don't recoil. Speed shooting full power 158 grain 357's is a riot. Even the 44 is pretty light, once you get to the 50 though, things change fast. For a fun gun, I think the 357 is terrific (especially with half full milk jugs :D)

I didnt know there was a non revolver .357 thank you for showing this. May I ask how much you paid?

Thanks guys! I really am enjoying it. Looking forward to loading it up with some haevy bullets and cases full of H110 or W296.

drvage - The rimmed cartridges flow like butter from the mag and then out again after they're fired. The mags are very nice to load too.

Jeff.
