I still like it mind you, but that hogue grip has to go. The original A2 grip would be better. Rubber over-mould is TERRIBLE with shooting gloves on.

Good to know. I don't shoot with gloves on much anyway, but we'll see how things go. Even if I do ditch it, the 16 bucks I paid is no big loss.

I broke her in today, and what a fantastic rifle. The brake softens the already mild AR recoil very nicely, and the trigger is exactly as I expected from an AR.

Once I got the Strikefire dialed in, the rifle was putting rounds right where I wanted them. She ate 100 rounds of AE Black Box without a hiccup, and I couldn't be happier.

I was shooting off hand, so no groups will be posted to save my pride.

Now I just have to wait for my LAR mags and Magpul gear from Questar and Wolverine.

PS: To the gent who lent me his 2 LAR mags for my shoot at Phoenix; if you're on here, thanks again. Good on you for taking your son shooting.
