Awesome looking pistol. Good for you for realizing that hardware can't compensate for software:D

Ain't that the truth. Everything you ever new about shooting rifles goes right out the window in pistol shooting.

MOA twitch is FRUSTRATING!

Having said, that, it feels good in the hands (it's a ##### being ambidextrous) and I am having issues deciding which side to call my 'strong' hand.

I am slightly more left handed, so I think I will use the right side holster, and force my weaker hand to work hard one week, then get the other holster on the left side and work that side for a week. That should tune up everything quite nicely.

Just have to get more trigger time now, I have only put 2000 rounds through it!

enjoy it!
it certainly looks nice!

Thanks Guys. She sure shoots sweet too. No kachunk kachunk feeling of the slide when it goes into battery either. Smoothest .40 I have ever shot. Bar none. And the trigger is unreal. I did have to fix a F/U on the slide stop but with a new one in place, this rig is tight and smooth. Tanfoglio? Never heard of them, but I am a believer in them now.

The only other mod I might do is put the gold team flat grips on. The checkered ones are great, but the flat ones look awesome.

You mean that with a gun that hot, you don't just have to stand behind it and let it do all the work???? Seriously, nice gun - and if you stick to the bigger matches and hang back a little, no one will know what your score is unless they're standing right there, they'll just see the gun and figure, "damn, that guy has to be good." :D

Nice to see another Tanfoglio shooter

Hi there..

Welcome to the small group of Tanfoglio shooters.. I started about a year ago and have been so pleased with mine that i bought another.. Gotta have a twin, just in case. The gun is very accurate and mine rarely jams or has cycling trouble. The gun is so easy to shoot and nice and heavy to absorb the recoil so your second shot is usually a quick acquasition. I really should take some pics of my pair.. LOL

Good luck with your IPSC shooting.. I am sure you will do well with your new pistol..

Do you reload? if so what bullet and powder are you using. Have been reloading for about 1.5 years for 40 cal and 9 mm and have recipes for both if you are interested..

Aw shucks, you mean you aim these things>? I was having the best luck just closing my eyes as I pulled the trigger:D

Very high on my 'next list'.
It should be. Very Very... did I already say Very? SMOOTH!

Greetings Dan. I am now spoiled, and yes, I will be looking for another one (although not this year as my money tree crop was lost in a freak chainsaw accident)

I am just getting started, so I am in process of acquiring all the needed gear to reload. More than likely a blue koolaid 550 will be the next purchase. So far, a friend does all my reloading, and using a 180gr lead bulet, he is loading 5.8 grains if vhitavouri in the load.

Personally, I have some 32lbs of Alliant promo powder that I am going to experiment to make a recipie for. According to Alliant the burn charecteristics are the same as RED DOT. I have all this powder because of trap and skeet shotgunning.

What kills me is how little powder it actually takes on reloading, compared to shotshells! 6 grains is a lot less than 20 that's for sure.

PS, that Hennings trigger group is awesome. It will make your Tango that much better to shoot.

And by all means, if you have some recipie's to share, I am all ears!

Can't leave anything in it's stock form, eh? Looks good.
