I am still amazed and delighted with these GSG 1911-22's! We held our annual Family Heritage Day at the range last weekend and many hundreds lined up to shoot, especially at the handgun section. The favourites were consistently a couple of 44 magnums loaded at about 900 fps on the steel - and my fake suppressor-equipped GSG. We went through a few bricks of 22 and everybody wanted to try this one. Towards the end of the day it was so dirty the average 12 year old with a soft grip was getting stovepipes but it still ran perfectly for my friend Ryan who was manning it. And accurate to boot! We had 9mm, 38, 45, and 44 ammo and thought we had lots of .22 - we had to borrow another brick from the rifle section.
