Is the gun chambered for +p though?
Pretty much all modern pistol designs can handle +P loads.
A steady diet is a different story, but I wouldn't hesitate to run them through any gun I do, or have owned.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding whether or not a particular cartidge is safe or not. +P, +P+, margin of error, etc., well it sometimes comes down to a roll of the dice. Case in point, I had some 45 Colt cartridges with a nice light cowboy loading, lightly crimped as well as it turned out. Had a few, maybe 5 or 6, where the bullets were pushed into the case a bit more than normal. Could have easily impact drove them out but I thought that my nice strong Ruger could handle any extra pressure. Got two rounds off, didn't feel that bad, bit snappier than ususal that was all. Next one split the chamber and turned that nice Ruger into a five-shooter for sure.
As I said, it is your call whether or not you use cartridges that are out-of-spec or not. Just don't whine about it when the inevitable catches up with you.

thanks Pervers and dabear it was wax on the inside of the die...a fukin #### load of it..use brake clean and a dental pick now it's spotless... I'm defiantly not shooting these shorties.. have a collet puller coming next week my colt and glock are not worth the hour it will take to pull em all. Seating the bullet deeper lowers the case volume. Powder when burned creates a volume of gas. The same volume of gas occupying a smaller space results in higher pressure than if it occupied a larger space. Plus the smaller the space, the quicker the power burns as well which also contributes to higher peak pressure.
This is why 9mm has much higher pressure than .45 ACP loads, even though 9mm normally has a bit less powder than .45.
FYI, re Bullet pullers
It will not be in time to solve your problem, but was looking into a press-mounted puller (as opposed to the kinetic one I already have) and wondered why Lee didn't make one so I e-mailed them:
I need one before that, too, so I'll probably get a Hornady or Redding in the near future. But I suggested that when they do come out with one, to make sure there is good visibility so you can see where the collet is gripping, which I understand is a problem with most of the others.
