I thought having 2 would be enough but it isnt....
Just got another Shorty today and overall I am very impressed , all it needed was a shim .
The stock flash hider came off really easy as it wasn't spot welded on .
The op rod guide is nice and tight and even the original Norinco rear sights felt good !!
I added Garand rear sights, and a Springfield Armory muzzle brake.
I need a Op rod spring guide and I am waiting on a new stock for it from the Doc and I will get another Turner Saddlery sling for it .

Is this the re-weld model?
Hard to tell but they ussally have to tall tail sign's around the rear heal of the reciever and on the op-rod track.

Closeups of that camo would be nice to look at. I'd like to start doing something like that once the shop is setup. If that is an AWS Turner sling, good choice. One of my favorites.

Yes it is a Turner AWS (Biothane) sling , Hungry recommended that brand to me and I am very happy with it and will get another for my new rifle as well..

The paint job was very easy to do ..Smakdaddy on here made a video on how to do it .
I finished up with a few coats of clear and it is holding up well.

Nice, I am probably going to go zero mine this weekend. Let me know if you want to get together at the Pembroke range and maybe you can teach me a thing or two.

Nice job on the paint. Depends where and how you plan on hunting with it though. I left mine factory black as I only use this rifle in ground blinds, so mostly in the shadows. I find it a bit too heavy to carry around for hunting. OK no whimpy jokes guys pls.
I thought of getting an extra stock that I would paint to the local conditions if I ever decide to carry the thing around for miles. Its on the bucket list.:D
