I miss my Benelli M4...why did I sell it ???

The most ELITE shotgun in the world... Benelli's M4 Super 90 Tac Shotgun....wow, just saying that makes my d*ck hard. I sold it a while back, and am missing it dearly....why did I sell it??? (bloody $2,500.00 price tag)

Let's be honest...NOTHING comes close to the Benelli M4. I have owned and shot extensively every shotgun you can think of...The only two that I find even come close are the Mossberg M590-A1 & Remington 870 Police.

I currently own a Mossberg M590-A1 14" Monster :) and I LOVE it...super accurate with its ghost ring sights, even at 200 yards:eek: using rifled slugs...but it just doesn't have the class, craftsmanship, and superior operation of the self-cleaning gas-operated semi-automatic M4.

I think it's time to sell a couple toys, and head over to my local toy-store...the only question is....Collapsable stock, or Solid Pistol grip?
(This WAS my baby :( ) I hope it's new owner is treating it like gold

I see your from burlington :)

Pietro, I want to let you know that I'm taking good care of your M4. I shot my first turkey with it in the spring. She is well oiled and in a safe place. Oh, and I prefer the solid stock.

LOL:D....oh man, that kills me :D I'm glad you're loving it...nice to know that it's in good hands...

Happy shooting bmac:cool:

Does the full stock come in different lengths?

very nice shottie by the way. :D

nope.... 15.5" LOP, like the tele stock in the fully extended position :X

Its pretty easy to shorten it down, there is a post on AR15.com with a "how-to" guide in the archives.

My M4s90 eats target shells very well now, it choked on them a little originally, but once it had a bit of a break-in, it fires the target loads just fine :D

I feel for you. My M-4 Super 90 is definitely on my "never sell" list, along with my 1911 and my dad's old guns -- and a few pre-'46 prohibs, but those are negotiable.

I had some problems with light trap loads, too, but those went away as the gun got broken in.

Has anyone had any luck/experience with finding and using different choke tubes in this shotgun?

I have 2 cylinder bore chokes for mine. One that came with it, and one extended & externally threaded choke for a muzzle brake/door breacher I have.

You might wanna give Casey at Tactical Ordnance an email and see if he's got, or can find any M4 chokes. great guy to deal with!

Mine came with a Modified choke. The gun was advertised back when I purchased it (Nov 2007) as coming with Cylinder and Improved Cylinder chokes as well. Phoned the dealer and was shipped these 2 chokes no charge. I believe the choke containers were marked Beretta. I swapped in the cylinder choke since it is better for slugs.

Note that the advertising material now states that the M4 now only "comes with a modified standard choke".

This page:

lists the Benelli choke types that work with the M4. Five "Standard chokes", from Full to Cylinder, are compatible. Extended standard chokes are also shown as compatible.

I run mine with a 7 MOA Docter Optics sight. Very nice gun that groups tightly with Federal Truball reduced recoil slugs. It's a keeper for sure.

I used to have one of those (7moa dot) on my Benelli M4, absolutely loved it :D

Although I have an Aimpoint Micro now. Still miss the Docter sight a bit, but my Friend in the Military is using it as a backup on his scope (personal rifle) :D
