I Need A Gevarm E1 Clip/Magazine HELP

Gevarm Magazine needed

I am with you. I have one magazine and would like to get one more 10 round magazine. Any help would be appreciated.

uuummmm.... I think all of us E-1 owners are in the same boat. :D

I heard about a guy in NY State, (Rumour, Rumour!!!) who is re-poping some popular/hard to find mags, Gevearm is one of the models that he will be re-poping...... I really hope its true, I just can't bring myself to spend $150-$300 on a used mag!

Otherwise... good luck finding one in good shape for a price you can afford.

That would be good too.... re-post when you actually get the info.... I will too!

I am always looking for Gevarm mags, every gunshow & garage sale I go to.....

I have found a few, but always VERY overpriced..... $50 I would pay.

$150-$300... not so much.

Has anyone ever compared the Gevarm magazine to other rimfires and see if anything is close enough to be modified to work?

If there was such a thing as a slightly smaller one, it could be built up where needed with jb weld or something to fit right? How many of us wouldn't sacrifice some Lakefield or rem 597 magazines if there was a way. This could be the ultimate gun nut dremel project.

I guess I'll bug the guys at Del Salins next time I am there about it. I'm sure they have a bucket of rimfire mags laying around. If I find anything that's close, I'll try and post the results of me screwing up a perfectly good magazine up trying to make it work in the Gevarm.

I'm not quite ready to square out the magazine well of the rifle to try to make it fit something else yet. A Cooey ... probably, but not the Gevarm.

I'm trying to find a post where a guy said which magazine he had used to make one with. Seems like he said a S&W 625. If that's not right, when I find it I will edit this post.

There is a guy in Alberta that has some 10 rounders but I can't seem to find an email address for him. Goes by the name of unclebuck.

Seems like I saw that name on a forum today when I was searching Gevarm on Google. I've got to find that post where the guy talks about making a S&W magazine work. I think he said a S&W 422 or 622 could be made to work.

Don't try the HK 270 .22 magazine rumour.....I have both guns and 20 round magazines. The Gevarm .22 magazine is as close to a HK 270 .22 magazine as a CZ 58 magazine is to an AK 47 magazine...............

Have you checked Hoosier gun works? http://ww w.hoosiergunworks.com/catalog/magazine_rifle.html

They list an original 20 round mag at $150 US and new made clones at $50 US. The site indicated it was updated 9 Mar 2009.

They won't ship to Canada for all the others asking.

Yup they have em...... but they fit the A series rifles... not the E-1.

Ah, didn't look closely at the writing on the pic.

Could they not have the proper locking notch placed on the front of the mag? The pic looks exactly like an E1 20 round mag.
