I need a name......

of anyplace (anybody?) that carries the Hornady modified cases for their OAL gauge.

Specifically: .223, .308 & 8mm mauser.

Every place I've checked either has the gauge but no cases, or nothing at all. TSE had cases, but not the ones I'm looking for.

Anyone else seen these little chunks of brass unobatanium kicking around?

Try Brownells and Sinclair International. I could not find a 6.5x55 SM and a fellow CGN answered by calling plea. I mailed him a fired case and he made me a 6.5x55 OAL case and performed a bloody marvelous job.

You're right on both counts,especially in the way more accurate part.
