I need a quality 20 ga. tactical....

Hi folks,
I want a 20 ga shotgun for zombie and camping/atv protection.

My requirement:

- 20 ga. (please dont tell me 12 ga is better..I know and I owns some, but I hate the recoil)
- Pump action OR semi
- 5 rounds capacity min.
- Shortest barrell possible
- Screw-in choke
- Ghost ring sight (Mossberg or Wilson)
- Not really picky about stock type buy I like synthetic and laminated (even with weird colors!!) Like pistol gripped stock too.
- Max 13'' lenght of pull.
- Vent rib or not, doesn't matter.
- Finish is not important too.
- Quality of my setup must be very good!! So, please, don't tell me about ATI stuff or junk like that
- Can be used or new

I know that no shotgun probably exist with what I want. I will have to install after market parts probably (including treading for chokes). Tac-Ord may be the place to go, I don't know.

Any suggestion??

The Rem 870 youth might be a good choice in 20 for what you are looking for. Short barrel, and you can likely find a whack of accessories to pimp it out to whatever your needs may be.

Knoxx stocks can bring the recoil of a 12ga to just about a 20g .... alot cheaper then getting a new setup based on recoil...

Mossberg makes a number of 500 persuader/cruiser in 20ga,6 Shots,with differnet set ups .like 18.5" barrel, a tactical breecher barrel[stand-off], full stock or pistol grip only, .

they also have a Auto-loader,SA-20, But it only comes with 24' barrel as the shortist.

Youth sized turkey gun in either a Mossberg 500 or a Rem 870 might be a good start. The barrels might be a bit longer than your wanting, but already threaded for choke tubes. Both will accept any number of aftermarket stocks, and ghost ring sights are easily available for both. BTW unless you are shooting grouse or rabbits 12ga is a better choice

Grouse and rabbit for hunting, and black bears if they seem too friendly with my kids
