I need advice for hunting in Texas

Anybody hunted varmints, doves or hogs in Texas?

I expect to be there winter/spring in 08 and might hook up with an outfitter for a 2-4 day hunt.

It is pricey though, so any advice input would be appreciated.

Ya, get some Permanone Repellent for insects because the Ticks will carry you away in Texas. Been there done it a couple times...
