I just bought a folding stock to put on my 14" barrel HP9. I thought I'd be good to go but I'm about 1 1/4" short, is there any decent way without making the shotgun look stupid or buying a new barrel to permanently extend it to 26" while folded?

Worst case scenario I'll throw it on my 8.5" barrel grizzly and register it as a restricted.

you could try tossing a breaching device on the end of the barrel, if you can find one that's long enough. It'll make it look extra tactikool if that's your thing :D

I was thinking about that but will it interfere with the bead sight and how would I attach it? JB weld lol

I suppose the bead sight is too close to the muzzle to thread it, my personal preference would be to add a pic rail and a reflex optic. If you're not into that you could mill out a slot in the breaching device with a dremel to fit the bead sight, then attach with silver solder or a weld. Also, if you're worried about the breaching device obscuring the bead sight (I.E. if it's not pedestal mounted, which yours aren't) you could try an XS Big Dot bead sight, installs over your standard bead with a little JB Weld, (and yes I do think that will hold it sufficiently, it's in the manufacturer's instructions) It will give you some better clearance, and has a tritium insert to boot.

With a that short of a barrel dose the bed sight madder?
Silver solder would be the best, but I have had good luck with JB wield if done proper.

where are all those guys that say everyone is good to go with a folder and a 12.5 barrel? Hello? Where'd you guys all go?

What about a +2 ext? It will stick out further than the barrel but won't cause you any trouble. Might look goofy but it would probably do the trick for you.
