I NEED ANOTHER 40, XD or XDM ?

Hi everyone. I am thinking about adding another 40 to collection and am favoring the Springfield XD and XDM right at this moment. Can those owners pipe in and tell me the good and the bad ?

Nice handguns, but support after purchase is spotty. A little tricky to find mags, holsters, etc.

Have to agree, spares and add ons are sparse.. Didn't I read on here somewhere, that Springfield is going bust? Do some research, lot's of fine .40cal pistols out there....good luck...nothing beats looking for new toys.....lol

i've always prefered the XD to the M models, though i do like the competition version.

I never had an issue finding holsters for the XD, and i have 10-12 000 rounds thru my 9 with no issues. Mags used to be easier to find, but i usually get them south.
