I need AR purchase help

Alright gentlemen, im almost ready to buy another AR, but i seriously need some help.

Since i spent and wasted 3600$ on my last AR purchase that amounted to a defective pile of crap, i need the best AR expert gurus here to tell me what to buy.

My budget is 2400 to 3000 tax included.

I would like an AR that shoots under 2 moa guaranteed by the manufacturer, not heavier than 7 pounds with a barrel 14 to 20 inches.

I would like an AR that i can realistically purchase in the next 30 days, not the magical rifle from camelot imbued with the essence of the polar bear unicorn that comes to Canada in a select batches of 2 rifles every 23 years that have been pre sold 92 years in advance.

I want an AR that has the best track record in the existence of the world in feeding, firing and ejecting without failure, ever!

But above all things i want a rifle that has a refund from retailer if defective no questions asked, proven refund, not I've heard from bubba's sisters aunt's cousin that he got his money back

i really don't want to make another 3600$ mistake, i really need some help.

I welcome all comments of course, but I'd really like comments from people who actually have shot the rifle, not ive heard from my cousins brother's best friend.

I can't say I've seen anyone get there money back personally, but I have seen replacing factory defective rifle with a new one. Sounds like you need KAC, Noveske, LMT, DD, Colt, Stag has warranty for original owner. I'm saving for LWRC M6 IC & a REPR those will be my be all end all. I've owned everything I've mentioned along with some others, but those are the best I've owned and will mention. Only thing I ever encountered was a cosmetic problem with the lmt and was replaced right away by the retailer. They all ran like tops, I also kept and continue to buy noveske products & some day those LWRC's

Quick question...what AR did you buy before (though I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to reveal the brand), what went wrong with it that led to your dissatisfaction? Sounds as if it was a reliability issue. If so, under what conditions? What type if shooting (sounds like CQB). Also sounds like you had some issues with the dealer for after-sale service.

Better upfront information will get you better recommendations!

Christensen Arms, CA15, tons of problems, tons!
On all types of mags firing 55grain AE, Problems feeding (rounds catching on feed ramps and jamming), problems firing (light primer strikes), problems ejecting (round stuck in chamber, causing me to mortar the gun to get it out), bolt release snapped off, sheared right where the lower meets the upper into space during a quick burst. Bought at a place with the word "stall" in the name, currently being serviced by them, not expecting it back any time soon (over 2 months there already), hence why I need an AR pronto if I want to compete in 3gun this summer.

What I want to do with an AR, compete in 3 gun, so close up and up to 200 yards.

they didn't offer a refund with that amount of problems?

Cool - thanks for the additional info.

I've been doing some in-depth research for my next AR purchase and JP Enterprises keeps coming up with their Low Mass Operating System (LMOS), though I have yet to shoot one myself (caveat emptor). CRAFM in Montreal seems to be the only Canadian dealer, but have several on sale - I was in their shop a couple of weeks ago (awesome place), and they were at FRPC for an IPSC Level III event last weekend here in Kingston. Good guys. Their spring kits can lighten an AR trigger (at the expense perhaps of hammer force on harder surplus/milspec primers), but the LMOS system and integrated compensators on their barrels look very interesting for 3-gun.

I saw at least one JP AR on sale for within your budget range, plus saw some uppers if you have a lower already for just over $2k if you already have a lower / another AR that's not in for service. I was talking to Mark from One Shot Tactical this weekend in Kingston, and they split some of their KAC ARs into uppers and lowers, and there was at least one upper available with an 18 inch barrel.

Im not sure i understand the attraction to super high-end AR's. Does paying 3x more get you a gun thats 3x better? After your experience Id lean towards a known rifle thats high value, like the Colt mentioned.
 
Stag 3g from Arms East. With good ammo will shoot in the 1/2 to 1 moa range at 100 yards. 18 inch 1:8 twist barrel stainless fluted match barrel, magpul furniture, Geisselle trigger, samson handguard. $1,800 price tag. To build the same gun with the same components would cost more.

no. Refunds are like unicorns, dragons, and angels, everyones talks about them, everyone wants one, no one ever experiences it. hell i would have settled for a store credit or an exchange but that too is a mirage.

dd m4 mk12 18 inch
stag 3g
colt le6940 (not sure where they have it in stock)
kac lpr (but i would need to save for another month)

Don't be surprised if you get a Colt LE and it looks scuffed up to sh!t unless that doesn't bother you. I'd add PWS right up there in that list. I'm a sucker for DD as well.
