I need a ball detent et detent ball spring for a 1/8 hole (3.2mm)
I bought a barrel of EE and the ball got lost during shipping. I need punch another one in there.

Anybody know where I can find one ? or have a couple of spare ones

I did couple of hardware store like GBS and couldn't find anything that small.

I am about to look for a huge Truck zerks cut it in 2 to extract the spring and ball

It looks like your ball was never there. Some of the 870 Express guns were drilled but never had them put in since they do not use them to retain the magazine cap.

Anyway they are not really balls, but a detent and a spring. A special hollow punch is needed to put them in properly.

I have all Remington 870 parts in stock including this detent and spring.

You may find a small bearing (detant) in an old 1/2" ratchet kicking around the garage. Take the head of the ratchet apart and there should be a bearing in the mechanism that switches the ratchets direction.
