Most inexpensive calls are capable of producing good rabbit/hare distress sounds. More depends on the hunter getting into the right spot, right time of the day and under the right conditions. Download some sounds off the net from various varmint sites (Varmint Al's for one) and practice, practice, practice!!! Believe me, once ya have a fox or yote almost run into ya, it will be so all worth it! If you live in a region like I do here in Manitoba where almost nobody hunts longhairs the whole thing will be all the easyer as well.
