I need help with this Gun please.

Send the scope in to have Leupold check it out, try a lighter or heavier bullet weight...that may make a difference...without having the gun in my hands it's difficult to really gauge the problem...

I feal your fustration and I'll relate a little story about another 7mm Mag

I have a ruger M77 that caused me untold grief. first 2 rounds were always about 1" and never more then 2", but the third round was always +2" and the fourth was +3" and the fifth was no better. So sighting in was always super fustrating. I tried swapping the scope, no still problems, I took off the stock, striped the rifle completely, cleaned it, reassembled carefully. No still causing grief. Then I noticed the third shot was always high and right the fourth was always right and the fifth was low and right. Well my slow witted brain suddenly had a flash (ouch) bedding. Its set up with a presure point half eay down the barrel. So one day I'm going to bed the reciever and free float the barrel. Untill then I have sighted it in cold, and thats how I use it for hunting.

So hang on if its not shot out then your problem is fixable.

You have to try to shoot a group, don't shoot 1 round and adjust the scope, then shoot 1 and adjust, it gets to be a very fustrating and vicious cycle. I know.

Before we have this guy selling or trading his gun and possibly losing $$ on it, why not recommend a gunsmith in his area to give this a once over and double check EVERYTHING, maybe even boresight it and try it out.

There I was about to recommend the guy go and see a competent gunsmith, and see another Kingstonian making the recommendation. Well done, blargon!

My bet is the scope bases.

And I will buy the rig, sight unseen........for a decent price.......
