I need some brass tumbling tips.

Just a couple of things:

SandRoad,

I never said NOT to rinse the brass after using CLR. I just suggested that CLR may get rid of the stains.

If I may ask, how are you fellas so sure that the Brasso myth is busted? What evidence leads you to believe that the ammonia in Brasso does not attack the integrity of the metal? If you feel so sure about it, then why do 95% of you use NuFinish, not Brasso?

Nu Finish in corn cob rocks on fresh brass. Walnut is sharper and cleans dirty and lightly stained brass. Badly stained brass works best after a good wash, and rinse, in vinegar and Dawn dish liquid.
If its just clean you desire, wash off dirt and grit with Dawn, tumble in cob, and Nu Finish, and load.
The Nu Finish leaves just enough wax to slow finger prints and tarnish down. It also makes straight wall sizing easier.
I do use a universal deprime die first, tumble, and the deprime pin in the sizing die clears the errant flash hole plug.
