I need some glass..

hey guys,
I bought a new model 70 30-06, but i need some glass. I was told to get a scope that is 3x9, but i don't want to spend a million bucks. Was thinking in the 200-300 dollar range. any recommendations?

There are some good prices now on Elite 3200s.

A Burris FF II is in that price range, and I find them clearer in low light situations than the 3200, though the 3200 does have the rainguard which is a nice feature if hunting in the rain.

I have had very good results with the Bushnell Elite 3200 & 4200 series scopes.

On second glance you could get a Vortex Viper for $329.

Look at the new Redfield Revolutions made under Leupold's ownership (with guarantees like Leupolds.) A 3-9x40 is well inside the price range you are considering and is more than adequate for almost all hunting.
